1. About these terms

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Kyle Rise Car Park application (“the App”) operated by LCPM (Local Car Park Management Ltd) (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By creating an account or purchasing a permit, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
  • You must be at least 17 years old to create an account (the minimum UK driving age).
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

3. Purchasing permits

We offer the following digital parking permits for Kyle Rise Car Park:

  • Daily — £5 (valid for the day of purchase)
  • Weekly (5-day) — £20 (Monday to Friday)
  • Weekly (7-day) — £25 (7 consecutive days)
  • Monthly — £60 (calendar month)
  • Annual — £500 (12 months from purchase)

All permits are digital only. There is no physical ticket or pass. Permits activate immediately upon successful payment.

Each permit is linked to a specific vehicle registration number. One permit covers one vehicle only.

4. Pricing and payment

All prices are in British Pounds (£) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your card details. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant.

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Price changes will not affect permits already purchased.

5. Refunds and cancellations

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period for online purchases.

However, because parking permits are digital content that activates immediately upon purchase, you acknowledge and consent at checkout that:

  • The permit begins immediately and you expressly consent to this.
  • You acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel once the permit has been activated.

Refund policy:

  • Daily permits — no refunds once activated.
  • Weekly permits — no refunds once activated.
  • Monthly and Annual permits — if you contact us, we may at our discretion offer a partial refund for unused days remaining. This is not guaranteed and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

6. Vehicle registrations

You are solely responsible for entering the correct vehicle registration mark (VRM) when purchasing a permit.

If your VRM is entered incorrectly, your vehicle may not be recognised by our enforcement cameras and could receive a parking charge notice. We are not liable for penalties arising from incorrectly entered registrations.

You may update your vehicle registrations through your account at any time.

7. Permit validity and enforcement

Kyle Rise Car Park uses ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) cameras to verify that parked vehicles hold a valid permit.

Vehicles without a valid, active permit linked to their registration may be subject to a parking charge notice in accordance with the car park's signage and conditions of entry.

A valid permit entitles you to park at Kyle Rise Car Park only. It does not guarantee the availability of a parking space.

8. Retailer discount codes

Businesses operating near Kyle Rise may provide discount codes for their staff or customers.

  • Discount codes are intended for the specified recipients only (e.g., employees of the issuing business).
  • Codes must not be shared publicly, sold, or transferred.
  • We reserve the right to revoke discount codes at any time without notice.
  • The issuing business is responsible for distributing codes to eligible individuals.
  • Misuse of discount codes may result in permit cancellation without refund.

9. Acceptable use

You agree to use the App and your permits in accordance with our Acceptable Use Policy. In summary:

  • One permit per vehicle — permits are not transferable.
  • Vehicle registrations must be accurate and kept up to date.
  • You must not attempt to circumvent our enforcement systems.
  • You must not use the App for any unlawful purpose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The App is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • We are not liable for any loss or damage to vehicles parked at Kyle Rise Car Park.
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from your use of the App.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant permit.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email.
